Oakcreek Golf & Turf is hiring an In-Shop Service Technician to join our Calgary head office team.
This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual looking for stable, full-time work in a shop environment, working primarily on golf cars and commercial turf equipment.

Oakcreek Golf & Turf LP is a Western Canadian distributor of commercial equipment, not a golf course.
We supply and service equipment used across multiple industries, including:
- Golf courses
- Municipalities
- Landscaping and grounds maintenance companies
- Ski hills and winter operations
Our product lines include Toro commercial turf equipment, Yamaha golf cars, PistenBully snowcats, and a wide range of equipment such as Boss snowplows, Ventrac, Harper, Otterbine, and Toro irrigation systems, giving our technicians exposure to a diverse mix of equipment used across golf, municipal, landscaping, and winter industries.

What You’ll Be Working On
- Golf cars and commercial turf equipment (Toro, Yamaha, etc.)
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Exposure to a range of equipment used in golf, municipal, landscaping, and winter applications
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, inspections)
- Install accessories (decks, blades, attachments, etc.)
- Test repaired equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
What You Bring
- 2+ years of mechanical experience (small engine, automotive, or equipment)
- Apprentice (2nd year or higher) or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
Assets:
- Experience with turf, agricultural, or outdoor power equipment
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
Additional Information
- Candidates are required to supply their own standard tools (specialty tools provided)
- Occasional travel for manufacturer training may be required
