Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Football Statistician will be responsible for working both conference and exhibition varsity home games, as well as any playoffs, gathering statistics during games.
Primary Duties

Record statistics and data transmission to league statistician (via email) and uploading data files to RSEQ and U SPORTS websites

Post-game review of data and statistical problem-solving

Ensure printer maintenance (e.g. cartridges, paper, etc), including publishing and distribution of statistics at halftime and post-game
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Strong PC skills, including a detailed knowledge of StatsCrew and Presto Sports for football Inputting rosters for both teams before kickoff is required

Sport-specific knowledge of football is required, including a thorough understanding of Statistical Scoring Rules Interpretations in the CFL Rule Book

Must be able to work evenings and weekends, including 90 minutes before kickoff and an extra hour for post-game statistical corrections

Must be punctual, organized, reliable and can multitask

Previous experience is an asset

Bilingualism is an asset

Must be available for the entire 2026 football season
