Banff Social is looking for passionate, hardworking, and reliable Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or casual shifts, we offer flexible scheduling and a positive work environment where you can grow your culinary career.
Working alongside our talented chefs, you'll help create memorable dining experiences inspired by the Canadian Rockies using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Banff Social recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet our expectations.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Assist with daily prep and maintain organized prep lists.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating stock using FIFO procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food Safe Certification is an asset.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
