i. Apply trauma-informed approach and IPAC protocol in assisting staff and clients with the day to day cleaning needs of the program
ii. Support in keeping the facility clean at all times
iii. Adhere to policies and procedures of the organization (the shelter provider), Shelter Standards, and WHMIS
iv. Other duties as required
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Beaverton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- cleaning and janitorial services: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CPI or De-escalation Certification (required)
- First Aid / CPR Certification (required)
- Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Administration Certificate (required)
- Shelter Standards Certificate or Equivalent (preferred)
