We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Inside Parts Sales Representative to join our Head Office in Innisfil. This individual will play an important role in supporting our growing customer base while helping us continue to build one of the industry's strongest aftermarket parts operations.
Position Summary
The Inside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the continued growth of RTI's aftermarket parts business.
This role combines inbound customer support with proactive sales activities. The successful candidate will assist customers with parts inquiries, quotations, and order processing while actively building relationships with existing customers to identify additional parts, maintenance, and equipment support opportunities.
Working closely with our Sales, Service, and Parts Departments, this individual will help ensure our customers receive prompt, knowledgeable, and professional support every time they contact RTI Equipment Solutions Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming customer parts inquiries by telephone, email, and in person.
- Identify customer equipment requirements and accurately source replacement parts.
- Prepare customer quotations and process parts orders efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery.
- Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
- Proactively contact existing customers regarding preventative maintenance requirements, wear parts, seasonal programs, promotions, and fleet support opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase aftermarket parts sales.
- Coordinate closely with the Service and Sales Departments to provide complete customer solutions.
- Communicate parts availability, expected delivery dates, and backorder information.
- Assist in managing inventory initiatives and maintaining accurate customer and order records within company systems.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent RTI Equipment Solutions Inc. professionally while upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, truck, agricultural, industrial, or automotive parts sales is considered an asset- But the right fit is more important
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical aptitude with an interest in heavy equipment and equipment components.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP business systems.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to continually learn and develop.
Experience with Hyundai, Bomag, NPK, Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, Hitachi, Case, or similar construction equipment is considered an asset but is not required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
