JJ Bakes Company is a Filipina-owned cafe and we are looking to fill positions at our brand new location in the heart of White Rock! Our cafe is inspired by our culture and we are looking for enthusiastic and driven team members to help share it with the community of White Rock!
Responsibilities:
- Brand New White Rock location!!!
- Making espresso based drinks using a semi-automatic machine
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Prepare and serve food items according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or food service is REQUIRED
- Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet customer needs efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
