Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various cutting machinery, including CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, and press brake machines, to produce precise components according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. The Saw Operator will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production workflows and maintaining high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate saw table machinery to cut and shape materials according to production drawings and specifications.
· Measure and mark materials to ensure accurate cuts and hole placement.
· Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of saws and related equipment.
· Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required standards and tolerances.
· Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
· Assist with material handling, setup, and inventory as needed.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience operating saw table or similar equipment preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
· Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing or shop environment.
· Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
