Our retirement community is seeking an individual focused on customer service, who is hardworking and enjoys working with seniors. In this role, the incumbent will provide housekeeping services to our residents. You have a positive and caring attitudeand the ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.The incumbent must be available to work days and nights.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Cleaning and disinfecting resident suites, including removing sheets and making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchenettes, washing floors, and other housekeeping tasks;
Cleaning and maintaining all resident common areas, offices, hallways, etc., as per job routines;
Completing other scheduled cleaning duties;
Performing laundry services for residents, as required;
Replenishing housekeeping carts and maintaining tidy storage areas;
Other related duties, as assigned.

Other key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent is required;
Able to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations;
Experience working with chemicals, cleaning products, and cleaning equipment;
Must provide police check including vulnerable sector search;
Must undergo a two-step Mantoux TB test and provide documentation of such.
