Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. is a multi-trade mechanical contractor that focuses on the industrial, commercial and institutional markets. With 40 years of experience, Nutemp has evolved into a vertically-integrated, industry-leading mechanical organization in Southern Ontario. We are currently seeking a LICENSED PLUMBER to join our Plumbing division and take the organization to the next level.
YOUR Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, drainage, and water distribution systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, identifying effective and efficient solutions
- Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to complete installations and system modifications
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service activities
- Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Your Qualifications
- Valid 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as a Licensed Plumber in industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) environments.
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems within industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex plumbing systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and other trades
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the trade, including lifting equipment and working in a variety of site conditions
