Typical shift: 7am - 3pm, 3pm-11pm, 5pm to 1am, shifts timing can vary.
Front Desk Guest Agent Job Responsibilities:
Guest Services and Administrative Duties
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information.
- Complete daily reports and required documentation.
- Assist management with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure front desk supplies are stocked and organized.
Other Office Tasks
- Clean and maintain the front desk area and reception spaces.
- Ensure work areas remain tidy, safe, and professional at all times.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
General Duties
- Work cooperatively with housekeeping, and maintenance staff.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Hotel Qualifications / Skills:
- Customer Service experience (Preferred)
- Computer Proficient (Microsoft Office, internet / email savvy, ability to learn new software platforms).
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate within a team.
- Solutions-based individual with the ability to problem solve.
- Organized individual with an eye for detail.
- Professional, reliable and trustworthy.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Reliable transportation to work
