We are a Top 50 distributor of electronic components, consumables and equipment required to build circuit boards and the latest technology electronic products. We’re growing and seeking an Outside Salesperson to represent our production floor division. You will be meeting the needs of every electronics production floor including solder materials, adhesives, personal protective equipment and test equipment, and offering products from some of the best brands in the industry at the best possible price.
With our head office located in Montreal, you will be working out of your GTA area home office and calling on our existing customer base while also developing new accounts. Building strong relationships with production Floor Managers, Operations Directors, and Owners are key to the success of this role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ sales experience in a retail environment or has worked in and enjoys a production floor assembly environment. You will report to and work closely with the Ontario Sales Manager, also based out of Toronto, who will help you get to know the industry, our business, and help develop your business.
This is a growth market in the GTA, the earning potential is very positive, and the position is extremely interesting and dynamic.

Responsibilities
· Contact and visit existing and prospective customers to introduce Diverse Electronics’ production floor division product offerings and service strengths
· Coordinate and manage consignment accounts
· Monitor market conditions, product innovations and provide product solutions to our customers
Requirements
· Minimum three 5 years’ experience selling production tools and equipment and/or experience working in an assembly production floor environment
· Have excellent communication skills, demonstrate good judgement, possess a sense of urgency and drive, and be highly organized and detail-oriented
· Possess strong computer, MS Office skills
· Be located in Toronto (required); driver’s license (required); 8 hours, Monday to Friday
