Assembler/ General Labour - Newmarket
The Career Foundation is currently seeking a Full-time Assembler/ General Labour – Newmarket on behalf of one of our employer partners.
Summary of the Position:
Leading Automotive Manufacturing is looking for full-time Assemblers to start ASAP in Newmarket.
Location: Newmarket (Bayview & Mulock)
Hours: 40 hours/week
1. Morning Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00AM - 2:00PM;
Pay rate: $17.60+ 4% hourly vacation pay = $18.30/hour
2. Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday - 2:00PM - 10:00PM;
Pay rate: $17.75+ 4% hourly vacation pay = $18.46/hour
3. Night Shift: Sunday - 7:30PM - 6:00AM || Tuesday – Thursday - 10:30pm - 6:00am;
Pay rate: $17.80/hr+ 4% hourly vacation pay = $18.51/hour

Key Responsibilities:
· Responsibilities include General Assembly, sorting, inspection. and other operations.
· Performs production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals. May perform work manually and/or by machine operation.
· Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem-solving activities.
· Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned areas.
· Report any unsafe condition or action or work related injury to his or her supervisor.
· Keeps work area clean and organized.
· Understand responsibility for health and safety.
· Wear appropriate PPE (CSA-approved safety shoes and safety glasses) and follow all safety rules
· Perform other duties as necessary in support of team objectives.
