We’re looking for a team player, a detail orientated, organized person to join our Individual Administration team as Individual Life- Admin Analyst.
Your every day with us:
You will apply your administrative skills maintaining individual life insurance policies, assisting sales agents as well as clients directly. Working with different admin & billing systems you will ensure a high level of accuracy and organization. You will work in a high volume fast paced environment where prioritizing is a must. Strong communication skills are essential.
As well, you will:
Process life insurance service requests related to coverage, address, method of payment, cancellations etc., as well as billing related tasks within the established accuracy, productivity and efficiency performance targets;
Prepare insurance forms and associated correspondence;
Perform general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations of accounts which include balancing, premium refunds and other billing adjustments;
Follow pre-determined system and business processes using the existing procedure guide;
Communicate with internal and external sales agents, inter-departmental team members, and clients, to resolve general and complex inquiries regarding eligibility, payments, and other policy modifications & maintenance
Collaborate with peers to manage work and to meet monthly targets
What you need to succeed:
A post-secondary diploma in a related field;
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office environment;
A high level of accuracy while working in a fast paced environment with demanding turn-around times;
Customer Service skills;
You are self-motivated and able to work independently;
Strong knowledge of MS Office, strong computer skills; and
Bilingualism is an asset – we talk to clients and sales agents from throughout Atlantic Canada
