Senior Project Manager – Custom Homes & Townhomes

Little Rock Builders is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team and take the lead on the construction of custom homes and residential townhome developments.
This is a senior-level position for someone who knows residential construction inside and out, can confidently lead trades and subcontractors, and takes genuine ownership of a project from the first shovel in the ground to the final deficiency.

What You'll Be Responsible ForProject Management
- Take ownership of residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Manage custom home and multi-unit residential projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, estimates, and construction timelines
- Monitor project costs and proactively identify potential budget or schedule issues
- Manage change orders, material requirements, procurement, and project documentation
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and project milestones
Construction & Quality
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and project progress
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets Little Rock Builders' quality standards
- Review plans, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Identify construction issues early and develop practical solutions
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project specifications
- Manage deficiency resolution and final project completion
Trades & Subcontractors
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trades, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
- Ensure trades have the information, materials, and timelines required to keep projects moving
- Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, schedule, and workmanship
- Build strong working relationships with trades and suppliers while maintaining clear expectations
- Supervise onsite personnel and promote a safe, productive, and professional work environment
Client & Team Communication
- Act as a key point of contact throughout the construction process
- Communicate project progress, timelines, challenges, and upcoming milestones
- Work closely with homeowners, clients, designers, suppliers, trades, and management
- Prepare project updates and maintain accurate construction records
- Keep everyone informed and make sure issues are addressed before they become problems
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership and lead.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Superintendent, or similar senior role
- Strong understanding of residential construction from foundation through finishing
- Experience managing custom homes, townhomes, multi-family, or other residential projects
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple trades and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgets, scheduling, and procurement
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of residential building practices, codes, and construction standards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
- Valid driver's license
Electrical or other trade experience is considered a strong asset, as is experience with project management and construction scheduling software.
