Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Bistro Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant food service environment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior restaurant experience and food safety knowledge are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling dishes and garnishing plates
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling protocols
- Restock supplies and assist in closing duties to ensure the smooth operation of the bistro
- dish-pit duties cleaning, sanitize and restocking shelves
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
