Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures; oversee shift closing and reconciliation
- Support hiring efforts by interviewing candidates, participating in staff training & development initiatives, and fostering team growth
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and cleanliness requirements
- Collaborate with management on budgeting efforts and operational improvements to enhance profitability
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere for guests by delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervising experience with staff training & development; leadership skills essential for motivating teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative team environment
- Background in hotel or catering environments is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
