The purpose of this position is to greet and welcome all guests to Blue Mountain. The Welcome Ambassador is employed to assist in creating a smooth and hassle free arrival procedure as possible and provide knowledge about and directions to areas of the resort. The Welcome Ambassador is also responsible for the control of vehicle arrival ensuring that guests park in authorized areas and that the entrance area of the check in location is safe. Lastly, the Welcome Ambassador is responsible for the control of sports/recreation equipment not entering the hotel(s).

Greets guests as they arrive at the Westin, Grand Georgian, Mosaic and Blue Mountain Inn check in locations
Makes guests feel welcome and explain the check-in procedure
Directs people to various areas on the resort and in the local area
Has an awareness of all activities and events on the resort, in the Village and in the area. Keeps in close contact with the Marketing and Activity Central Departments regarding things to do on the resort and in the area
Controls the storage of luggage and recreational equipment
Directs traffic in front of some locations, while assisting with parking options (valet, if available)
Takes ownership of the front entrance ways and ensure that they are safe, clean and presentable
