Under the supervision of the Director, Demand and Supply Planning, the Distribution Analyst works closely with the sales, marketing, finance and customer service teams, as well as with the plants, to analyze and optimize the planning network within the plants while ensuring customer satisfaction. The incumbent coordinates with the plants to determine the capacity and availability of supplies, production time, shipping requirements and product mix of each branch. The incumbent also works with each plant to improve profitability and coordinate the launch of new products and the depletion of obsolete items.

The Distribution Analyst will have the following main responsibilities:
Identify and communicate supply or distribution constraints in order to refine and execute the S&OP plan;
Produce sales and promotion forecasts;
Support the sales and marketing teams;
Manage, establish and implement inventory strategies;
Ensure deliveries within capacity;
Ensure the maintenance of data in the integrated system;
Perform maintenance according to business rules;
Ensure that purchase orders are processed/followed up according to business rules;
Determine, review and optimize the parameters of the material requirements planning.
The Distribution Analyst shall have the following qualifications:
Possess a BAC in Operations Management in another related field;
5 to 10 years experience in a similar role;
Master the Microsoft Office suite and SAP;
Knowledge of the IPB management system (a strong asset);
Excellent skills in priority management and resource organization;
Extensive and in-depth expertise in planning and distribution;
Ability to communicate effectively with team leaders and site partners on complex issues;
Excellent decision-making and proactive analytical skills;
Experience in improvement processes and knowledge of inventory management;
Analytical, mathematical and statistical skills.
