Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, providing basic caregiving, and ensuring their well-being while in our facility. This role will be two days a week in the morning.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing age-appropriate educational activities to stimulate children's development
- Providing basic caregiving such as feeding, and supervising playtime
- Ensuring the safety and security of all children in the childcare facility
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Maintaining a clean and organized childcare environment
- Collaborating with other staff members to create a positive and enriching experience for the children
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to educate and engage children in various activities
- Strong caregiving skills and a nurturing demeanor
- Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education is a plus
