Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support the CCM (Contact & Customer Management) and CDQS (Contact Data Quality Services) platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem.
The role involves building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, data integrations, enrichment processes, and data quality solutions supporting customer and contact data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale datasets.
- Build integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
- Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
- Develop curated datasets, analytical models, and reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support automation, CI/CD, testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain data documentation, lineage, and operational processes.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Spark/PySpark or equivalent.
- Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, Scala, or similar.
- Experience with large-scale structured and semi-structured data.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience with Azure services such as ADLS, Azure Storage, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working on Microsoft projects or the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience with customer/contact data, CRM, data enrichment, matching, or data quality.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance.
