About the Role
We are currently hiring Cleaning Technicians for our Airbnb and short-term rental division in the Greater Montreal Area.
This role focuses on preparing units between guest checkout and guest check-in, ensuring each property is cleaned, reset, and presented to a high standard. Airbnb turnovers are time-sensitive, so this position is best suited for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently within a set timeframe.
Although this role is focused on Airbnb and short-term rental cleaning, Cloovi’s work extends beyond this division. Team members who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong performance may have opportunities to grow into other areas of the company as we continue expanding our janitorial and facility management operations.
Schedule
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Main work window: usually between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Weekday daytime availability is strongly preferred
- Weekend availability is an asset, with strong preference for Sunday availability
- Minimum requirement: 2 shifts per week to remain active with the company
- More hours may become available as we continue adding new units and expanding operations
Please note: this is not a weekend-only position. Candidates must have flexible daytime availability, especially during our main turnover window.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and reset Airbnb and short-term rental units between guest stays
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, and common areas
- Make beds and replace linens, towels, and guest supplies when required
- Follow company cleaning checklists and property-specific instructions
- Upload required photos before, during, or after the cleaning when needed
- Report damages, missing items, low supplies, or maintenance concerns
- Ensure units are completed on time before guest check-in
- Communicate with the team through the company app when needed
- Maintain professional cleaning standards across all assigned properties
Requirements
- Must be available during the main work window of 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 shifts per week
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, Airbnb, hotel, janitorial, or residential cleaning experience is preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Must be comfortable using a mobile app for schedules, checklists, clock-in/out, communication, and photos
- Must be comfortable travelling to different locations across the Greater Montreal Area
- Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies, linens, or small cleaning kits when required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Travel Expectations
This role may require travelling to different cleaning locations, including areas such as Montreal, LaSalle, Laval, Longueuil, Chambly, and Pointe-aux-Trembles.
Mileage compensation may apply depending on distance and assignment.
