Job Requirements As Showroom Sales Representative
- Existing contacts with Architects, Interior Designers and Builders will be considered a major asset
- Minimum 3 years working in the natural stone and fabrication industry (Required)
- Sales experience in the residential and commercial interior finishes industry
- Must have record of success in prospecting, identifying and specifying products for residential and commercial projects
- Able to use technology (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks) we will train you on our systems in your first week.
- Proven track record in sales, meeting budgets and developing business relationships
- Excellent follow-up and ability to close a sale and create a positive customer experience
- Provide excellent sales and customer service, before, during, and after the purchasing process
- Experience working with developers, contractors and B2B
- Individual must be proactive in closing deals with both residential and commercial clients
- Must be a team player and work with little supervision
- Responsible for exceptional customer service and follow-up on full-cycle of order from meeting the client to installation
- Provide quotes and follow up with customers
- Establishes innovative ideas for connecting with new clients
- Ability to travel to prospective customer's home/business
- Ability to manage and organize projects and complete projects on time
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office application
- Effective written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

- Managing client proposals through design and production

Key Responsibilities As Showroom Stone Countertops Sales Representative
- Identify prospective clients that fit within established sales strategy
- Proactively prospect Architects, Interior Designers and Builders.
- Manage ongoing prospecting process to gauge the long-term fit
- Research potential construction projects, introducing our capabilities and portfolio
- Effectively communicate where and how Stone Port can add value to a project
- Handle incoming inquiries and determine needs, provide quotes, and provide samples of products
- Monitor the competition by gathering information on their products, pricing and other related issues
- Recommend changes by evaluating results and information received from marketplace
- Resolve client issues by being proactive in the sales process
- Reach sales goals by their deadlines and execute corrective measures when sales results deviate
- Remain current with the latest trends and innovations
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with associations to promote Stone Port.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
