We are seeking a passionate and talented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffees and drinks for our customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role will involve preparing a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system, handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas.
- Assist with drink preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain cleanliness in food service areas.
