We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 5 Driver with Air Brake Endorsement to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles equipped with air brake systems to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and timely deliveries.
- Safely operate Class 5 commercial vehicles equipped with air brake systems.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver and pick up products according to scheduled routes.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo safely.
- Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with provincial transportation regulations and company policies.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, or accidents immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse duties and material handling when required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
