Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Flatbed Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trucks to deliver goods across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members.
Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport freight over designated routes
- Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs and safety equipment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with flatbed trucks or similar vehicles
- Customer service skills to handle client interactions professionally and courteously
- Valid commercial driver’s license (AZ) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in handling tie-downs, securing loads, and operating safety equipment on flatbeds is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$33.15 per hour
