Cyclone Range Hoods inc. manufactures and distributes residential ventilation products across North America, with the primary focus on Range Hoods.
We are looking to hire a someone that can assist in our distribution warehouse and also complete deliveries to vendors within the GTA. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of one year warehouse experience and possess a valid class G driver's license with a clean abstract. Some basic experience with tools and also some mechanical and/or technical aptitude is an asset.
General warehouse duties include but are not limited to;
- Picking, packing & palletizing merchandise
- Shipping outbound freight via courier and/or LTL
- Receiving inbound freight via shipping container and/or LTL and sorting and putting away stock
- Inventory cycle counts (on occasion)
- Quality control inspections (on occasion)
- General housekeeping and maintenance; (i.e. sweeping, organizing, emptying and disposing of garbage)
- Delivering products to vendors within the GTA
- Picking up materials to return to warehouse
Qualifications:
Min. 1 yr Warehouse experience
Experience and knowledge in LTL and courier shipping
Ability to read and understand picking/packing lists and Bill Of Lading
Ability to follow instructions and procedures set by the company
Ability to work as a team and also independently
Ability to do some heavy lifting (up to 50 LBS) on occasion
Ability to stretch wrap pallets using a hand-held wrapping device
Ability to safely operate a pallet jack
Full G class license with a clean abstract
Experience or comfortable driving a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500
* Technical aptitude and the ability to use power tools is an asset
