Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This dual role combines providing chair side clinical support along with administrative duties at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
Dental Assistant:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient record
-Follow proper infection control protocols, including instrument sterilization and surface disinfection
Dental Receptionist
-Greet patients in a friendly and professional way
-Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patients with upcoming appointments
-Handle billing and insurance claims, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in patients accounts
Qualifications/Experience
-HARP certified
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software such as Tracker is a plus
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is advantageous
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
