Ballantrae Golf Club is a very busy public golf course with Dining Room, Bar and Terrace service. We are seeking a candidate for the following position:
Prep cook/dishwasher
Job Duties:
- Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning food
- Following recipes and food preparation procedures
- Assisting cooks with meal preparation and maintaining proper food portions
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Loading and unloading commercial dishwashers
- Keeping workstations, counters, floors, and kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Storing food and supplies properly and labeling items as required
- Taking out garbage and recycling
- Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations
- Helping with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Assisting kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
