We are looking for an Ontario College of Teacher-certified high school teacher to join our team and help us develop video lectures.
Contract, part time, and work during evenings and weekends are all possible.
Who We Are
We are building an online learning platform that allows high school students in Ontario to register for courses, view course materials such as video lectures, submit assignments, do practice tests/quizzes and ask teachers questions.
Our platform will have some similarities to Udemy, Lynda, Coursera, and other online learning platforms.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has some teaching experience, is self directed, and is not camera shy.You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and organized. The ability to teach multiple subjects would be a strong asset
You will be helping us develop video lectures that help high school students in Ontario. This includes designing and developing online lecture materials that meet the Ontario Ministry of Education’s requirements for OSSD credits (including audio-visual presentations), teaching the material through pre-recorded video lectures, compositing test and quiz questions, and coming up with assignments.
You will need to come into our studio, near Steeles Ave East and Warden Ave for taping the lectures.
Courses we need to develop include ENG1D, MPM1D, SNC1D, and FSF1D.
Our compensation will be project based, but expect in the range of $30-35/hour
