About Kidopia Early Learning
Kidopia Early Learning is looking for a passionate, committed, and experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our Multiage program in North Vancouver.
Our Multiage program provides a unique environment where educators build strong relationships with children across a range of ages while creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys creating meaningful experiences for children.
About the Role
As a Multiage ECE Educator, you will be responsible for independently supervising and caring for up to 8 children while maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Independently supervise a group of up to 8 children
- Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Follow all licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and Kidopia policies
- Complete daily documentation and observations as required
- Communicate professionally and effectively with families and team members
- Work collaboratively with other educators and centre leadership
- Demonstrate strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently
- Participate in outdoor play and learning experiences throughout the year
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate recognized in British Columbia
- Current Emergency Child Care First Aid certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check suitable for working with children
- Experience working in a Multiage childcare setting
- Experience independently supervising children, ideally in a small-group environment of up to 8 children
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to consistent attendance
- A genuine passion for working with young children

Hours
Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
This is a full-time position and we are seeking someone who can make a long-term commitment to the role and provide consistency for the children and families in our program.
