Western Ag Systems is a leading provider of livestock and grain handling/milling equipment, supplies and service to the Saskatchewan Agricultural community. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Saskatoon, SK location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting for goods leaving the warehouse through acceptable inventory tracking procedures
- Picking orders from an authorized company picklist, pick ticket, order, or invoice
- Following established inventory control practices for inter-company, and inter-department inventory transfers
- Loading of products from warehouse and yard onto customer and service vehicles
- Assisting Sales staff in achieving accurate shipping schedules and timelines
- Receiving all goods in a timely fashion that reflect the demands of inventory control procedures
- Bar-coding all goods before assigning to stock locations
- Storing and staging all goods in designated stock locations
- Participating in regularly scheduled cycle and year-end inventory counts
- Drive delivery truck to deliver orders to customers as required
- Maintain warehouse order and cleanliness
Skills Required:
- Grade 12 education or GED equivalent
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with bar-coding software an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent internal/external customer orientation and good teamwork skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Ability to operate a Forklift Safely and become a certified operator
- Observe and adhere to safety protocols
This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds repeatedly and safe handling of dangerous goods.
