In this role, you will bring your accounting skills to our Treasury Department monitoring the daily cash flow of multiple companies and ensuring the financial requirements are met. This role will appeal to an individual who thrives in complex organizational structures including multiple companies and involving inter-company transactions, and is a strategic problem solver who is capable of taking on additional projects as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Cash Management: Track daily bank balances, and manage incoming and outgoing payments.
- Financial Planning: Help develop future cash flow forecasts and monitor ongoing variances.
- Risk & Compliance: Mitigate financial risks, maintain internal controls, and file required financial documents.
- Banking Relations: Manage institutional banking relationships and oversee investment strategies for surplus funds.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with minimum 3-5 years of experience as an accountant. Ideally, you have a CPA designation or are working towards completing your designation. Strong computer skills with experience using Excel at a high-level is required. Experience with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate is an asset.
