We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times to prevent cross-contamination and ensure customer safety
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, especially in food industry roles involving meal preparation and food handling
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of food service operations and customer service principles
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
