Mad Scientists needed full time for Summer Camp. Part time hours available May-June too.
Get kids excited about science with Mad Science! Build and fly rockets, demonstrate lasers, explore the states of matter using dry ice, and help children create slime and other polymers. You will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative and fun activities that show kids what science is really all about.
We are currently looking for OUTGOING and EXCITING staff for Summer Camp.
We provide you the training and equipment to deliver Mad Science camp programming in St Catharines and Niagara Falls through July and August.
This posting is for Summer Camp, but we have part time employment available through the school year, and would love to keep talented Mad Scientists busy year round!
Requirements:
- An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality
- Under 30 years old (grant funded)
- Availability for part-time Fall work an asset
- Enjoys performing in front of an audience
- Experience with groups of children ages 4-12
- Some experience in theater a plus.
- Reliable transportation (A MUST!)
- A cell phone
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Lots of ENERGY
- All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiring

Contract length: 7 weeks
Pay: $19.40 per hour
