Position Description
Tyndale University, a Christian liberal arts university located in Toronto, Canada, invites applications for the endowed Van Norman Chair of Business. This a tenure-track position in business to begin July 1, 2025. While the search is open to any rank, the search committee especially encourages applications from those who currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
The successful candidate will be expected to serve the Tyndale community through committee assignments, to regularly engage in scholarly research, and to teach a 3/3 course load across two 13-week semesters. This position will involve providing leadership to the Business program, developing relationships with local businesses, and teaching introductory and upper-level courses in his or her area of expertise that serve the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Applicants should have strong commitment to the liberal arts, faith integration, and student transformation.
Minimum qualifications:

PhD or DBA in an area related to business (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Accounting, etc.);

Evidence of capacity for scholarly research;

Demonstrated commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

Candidates with a Master’s degree and significant business experience will also be considered.
Salary Range: $66,000 to $106,000, commensurate with experience
