Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and client specifications, contributing to the comfort and safety of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, thermostats, and related components according to project specifications and schematics
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing HVAC units as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Utilize plumbing, welding, and mechanical skills for system assembly and installation
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to guide installation processes
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Assist with the setup of boilers, appliances, or other mechanical systems as required
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of waste materials
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields such as plumbing, welding, or appliance repair
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, schematics, and construction practices
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively
- Prior experience working with HVAC systems or as a mechanic is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Construction experience preferred with a focus on safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
Pay: $21.22-$47.09 per hour
