Select Electrical Enterprises Ltd. is currently looking for a full time estimator at our Stony Plain, AB location. We specialize in electrical manufacturing for VFD's / automation / switchgear / switchboards and MCC's.
We are looking for a team player to grow with our business.
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope.
- Review project plans and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks, opportunities for cost savings, and scope clarifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to negotiate pricing and terms that align with project budgets.
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bid documents, and correspondence for future reference and audits.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, labor costs, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms.
- Experience in project management principles to coordinate estimating activities within larger project teams.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup collaboration.
- Effective communication skills to clearly present estimates and collaborate with existing team members.

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
