R&S Auto Service has been serving the North York community for over 40 years as a family-owned independent car care center. We work on everything. Imports, domestics, hybrids, EVs and we've built something here that most shops haven't. A team that actually communicates, a process that works, and a culture where people are trusted to do their job well.
We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to own our front end.
Not someone to answer phones. Someone who makes customers feel like they called the right place. Every single time.
What this role actually looks like.
You'll be the first voice a customer hears and the reason they book. You'll handle inbound calls with warmth and confidence, follow up with customers who have outstanding service recommendations, and keep our schedule full so the team behind you can do what they do best.
Our service advisor focuses on the vehicles in the shop. Our technicians focus on the work. You're the person who makes sure the phones are covered, the bookings are confirmed, and no customer falls through the cracks.
It's a role with real impact. When you do it well, the whole shop runs better.
You'll thrive here if you:
- Light up on the phone! warm, confident, and genuinely interested in the person on the other end.
- Can slow a conversation down when someone is frustrated and make them feel heard before offering a solution.
- Follow up because you want to, not because someone reminded you.
- Are comfortable making outbound calls to customers on outstanding service recommendations, and don't find that awkward.
- Have worked in a customer-facing phone role before. The service industry, reception, call centre, insurance, or anywhere you were measured on outcomes not just effort.
- Pick things up quickly and don't need automotive knowledge on day one. we'll teach you everything you need!
