Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting materials and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to the production process in a fast-paced setting. Duties
- Operate loader equipment and assist with the movement of materials within the facility
- Use excavators and forklifts to load, unload, and organize products or raw materials
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, handling materials that require significant physical effort
- Conduct cleaning and sanitation of work areas to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Sort materials accurately according to specifications, quality, or other criteria
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of heavy equipment and workspaces
- Support other team members in manufacturing processes as needed to meet production goals
Experience
- Prior experience with loader operation, excavators, forklifts, or heavy equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures within industrial settings is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role
