Job Description – Sales Clerk
- The Sales Clerk greets and assists customers, offering product information and suggestions to help them make purchases. They process payments, maintain customer profiles, and notify customers of sales and new items. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with age restrictions for sales (under 19), balancing the till at the end of shifts, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. The clerk is also responsible for opening and closing the store securely, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and performing other tasks assigned by the manager.
