Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and guide them to their tables efficiently
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using a POS system
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations when needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback to enhance overall experience
- Support team members with basic food service tasks as needed, demonstrating hospitality at every touchpoint
Requirements
- Prior experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for customer service is essential
