Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential? Kids & Company is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3 to join our team at our Evanston location.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide part-time 1:1 support for a child with exceptionalities while also serving as a float educator, supporting classrooms throughout the centre as needed.
This is a full-time position with guaranteed full-time hours. Educators will spend a portion of their day providing dedicated 1:1 support and the remainder of their time supporting classrooms across the centre, based on operational needs.

Provide individualized 1:1 support for a child with exceptionalities, fostering participation, independence, and positive development.

Collaborate with families and external support professionals to help implement individualized goals and strategies.

Support the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Support children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.

Complete daily documentation, observations, health checks, and classroom records.

Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards.

Provide float coverage and support across classrooms and age groups as required.

Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to ensure high-quality care and programming.

Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.

Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification.

Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B.

Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 3 months).

Experience supporting children with exceptionalities or diverse learning needs is considered a strong asset.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to varying classroom needs.

Ability to lift and/or support up to 45 lbs.
