We are looking for a qualified Truck Mechanic to join our team.
Role &Responsibilities
- Service and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks and mounted hydraulic equipment
- Maintain service records and complete reports of work performed per asset
- Trouble shoot and maintain hydraulic and electric systems
- Perform all duties in compliance with all safe work procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten(10) years’ experience working on heavy duty trucks/ equipment
- High School Diploma required & Mechanical certification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of utility equipment is an asset
- Welding experience an asset
- Hydraulic experience an asset
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to travel & work in the United States periodically
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers
- Excellent problem-solving skills as it relates to mechanics
- Work well as part of a team and individually
- Attention to detail and pride in work quality
- Punctual and reliable
This position is for Monday to Friday work, with opportunities for additional overtime hours in the evenings and weekends.
Salary will be based on Experience.
