We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Glazier for Commercial Window Restoration, to join our specialized construction team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive window restoration tasks, including removal, repair, and installation of commercial windows in accordance with project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out carpentry, caulking, and sealing operations.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of restoration plans.
- Apply construction painting techniques to enhance window finishes and protect surfaces from environmental damage.
- Conduct plumbing and welding tasks as needed for window frame repairs or related structural components.
- Install flooring or tile work around window areas when required for aesthetic or functional purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, restoration, or carpentry roles with a focus on commercial projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment relevant to window restoration.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in restoration work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers.
