Alforno is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our growing kitchen team.
The Kitchen Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment while supporting the culinary team with essential operational tasks. This role ensures that kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas are clean and ready for service, contributing to the efficient operation of the kitchen and an exceptional guest experience.

What are the duties to perform:

Organized and maintained kitchen inventory, ensuring accurate stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

Received, checked, and stored food and supply deliveries in designated storage areas.

Kept dry storage, refrigerators, and freezers clean, orderly, and easily accessible

Assisted with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.

Ensured proper storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and cleaning supplies.

Reduced waste by maintaining organized storage and following proper stock rotation procedures.

Maintained compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
