If you are passionate about a career in hospitality and want to be part of a team that shares this commitment, The Barrington is presently seeking a F&B Bartender to join TEMPO Food+Drink. Our award winning TEMPO Food+Drink restaurant offers hearty, authentic Canadian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails and Instagram worthy specials in a lively and vibrant setting.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Bartender will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining hotel standards.
What you will be doing:
- Welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression;
- Providing guest with food & beverage suggestions, while taking in consideration preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions;
- Promptly receiving drink order chits and preparing beverages;
- Communicating beverage descriptions, special and information to guests and team members;
- Stocking and maintaining all bar products including mise en place;
- Checking and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels;
- Counting and taking inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering;
- Such other similar or related duties may be required from time to time.
The person we are looking for has:
- NS Serve Right certification is required;
- Past experience in a similar role;
- Full time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- A strong attention to detail;
- A sincere desire to provide excellent service;
- The capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and is physically able to stand for an entire shift.
