Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
- Consistent optimistic and friendly energy
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cash register operations and balancing at the end of shifts
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all patrons
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions
