Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic ECE/IT to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment where young children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow. You will play an important role in supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions, play-based learning, and engaging experiences.
Duties
- Provide quality care and creative programming to children
- Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
- Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child feels respected and valued.
- Guide children's behaviour using positive guidance techniques that encourage self-regulation, problem-solving, and empathy.
- Support children in developing social and emotional skills through positive interactions and role modeling.
- Help children resolve conflicts peacefully by encouraging communication, cooperation, and respect for others.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
Qualifications
- ECE/IT certification from a program recognized in British Columbia
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
