Golder Associates Ltd. is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Canadian Mining Team in the Sudbury, Ontario office. You will work closely with the Project Support Team to provide general administrative duties to the Sudbury office and other Golder offices in Canada (as needed).
An overview of your role will include:
Prepare, review, proof-read, edit, and issue letters, reports, transmittals, spreadsheets, appendices, etc., for distribution to clients.
Provide general administrative and clerical support, such as maintenance of confidential records and project sites, setting up SharePoint sites, opening proposals and projects in Dynamics CRM, and other tasks as assigned.
Administrative support for the Sudbury Laboratory Manager and Supervisor; inputting results, scheduling, filing, organizing project files, etc.
Filing and archiving.
Provide support to reception, as needed, including greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, directing calls and responding to inquires, and coordinating outgoing mail and courier services.
Assisting with preparation of boardrooms for meetings, ordering, and setting up catering, etc.
Arrange travel, such as flight, hotel and car rental, as needed.
Other duties as required.
You will possess the following qualifications:
Completion of a Diploma Program in Office Administration.
One year of office / business administration experience will be considered an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook. Knowledge of MS Access and SharePoint would be an asset.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
High attention to detail, observance of deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and reliable with good interpersonal skills.
