Registered Physiotherapist Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist (RPT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care within out-patient settings and possess experience in acute care, subacute care, concussion care . The Physiotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with Athletic therapist, Massage therapist, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to ensure best practices.
- Experience in concussion and vestibular therapy is necessary.
- Pelvic health, and pregnancy related physiotherapy would be a great fit.
Skills
- Proven experience working in outpatient environments with a focus on acute care settings.
- Experience working with populations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical all age groups relevant to physiotherapy and patient care.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
- Effective communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced clinical settings. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care while adhering to healthcare standards and protocols.
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy is minimum required, any additional degree or certification will be an asset.
- must have active License and good standing with College of Physiotherapy in Ontario.
- Provide efficient care and document that within guideline set by organization.
- Proficient in communication to handle and delegate day to day tasks.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist with relevant licensing boards
- Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and medical spa environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Excellent patient assessment skills and the ability to develop tailored treatment plans
- Knowledge of occupational health practices beneficial for workplace wellness programs
- Prior experience in med spa settings preferred but not required
- Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in sports massage therapy, concussion, vestibular treatments
Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
